Day 14 and 15 - Venice and Pisa, Italy

Day 14 was our last day in Venice. We woke up to get our things ready for our trip to Pisa, all will thinking of our gondola experience. The previous night, we met two girls from Singapore and we decided to all go together on a gondola to share the experience (and the expenses). Those girls were so nice and friendly, I'm really glad we got to go with them.

The gondola experience was, in itself, amazing. The one in Las Vegas has nothing on the real deal. We got on the boat at about 8:30, so it was the perfect time to catch the sunset. The guy talked about some of the views, some of the Venice's history, and he even serenaded us! It was perfect.

It was with a bit of sadness that we left Venice, but with alot of excitement to find out what other adventures were waiting for us in Pisa.

Day 15 in Pisa was a well deserved relax day. We did walk alot, but we also took the time to breathe and simply immerge ourselves in the idea that we were in Italy. We took the time to take countless pictures of the leaning tower of Pisa, some more original than others, even thought we did also go for the classic "I'm trying to keep the tower from falling" pose. After lunch, we went to take a nap and then returned to sit in the shadow of the tower to have a small picnic for diner.

Life really is good in Italy!
