Glymm May 2012 products review - part 1

Here is the review I promised. I only tried a few products, and will review the rest once I've also tried them.

1) Shock for Her by CK ONE
"edgy. sexy. impulsive." Shock yourself and everyone around you with this fierce bouquet of passionflower.

Even thought I'm not a perfume kind of girl, I LOVED the smell of Shock for Her. I was glad that it wasn't fruity as I prefer flowery and vanilla-esque scents.  I also enjoyed that it was more on the subtle side and not one of those over-powering scent that makes you want to tear your nose off. One spray and I was set to go.

2) Shock for Him by CK ONE
"turn down the lights. amplify the sound. act on impulse." Get addicted to this juicy scent. It's fresh and leaves a lasting impression.

It leaves a lasting impression, alright, but not in a good way. I gave this one to Loverboy since this perfume was for guys. However, unlike the Shock for Her, the scent had nothing subtle to it. It could have had potential if the odor didn't attack your nostrils. Like I said above, I'm not a perfume kind of person, so maybe I'm just not used to the scent, but the point is, it wasn't to my liking so I gave it to a friend who actually did like it.

3) Vinosource SOS Thirst-Quenching Serum and Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet by CAUDALIE
Give your skin a surge of hydration and restore moisture balance for softer more supple skin.
Save your skin with this moisturizer. Your face will feel refreshed, hydrated and comfortably soft.

I really enjoyed this two products. I first used the serum on my face, and then put on the moisturizing sorbet. I did this right before going to bed and the next morning, my face still felt fresh and smooth. If I had about 100$ laying around, I would probably buy a full size bottle of each. It's just too bed the samples are so small. It says that you get up to 3 uses, but I'll probably get about 1.5.

4) HydroPunch Hydrating Conditioner by NUME
Turn dull and damaged hair into vibrant, healthy strands that you can't help but twirl all day long.

I thought I would save the best product for last. I was so surprised by this product. I tend to be quite picky with my shampoo-conditioner combo. However, the HydroPunch is definitely on my list of things to buy. I LOVED the scent. I don't even know how to describe it. It's not fruity for sure, which I liked. It had a sort of organic, plant-ish odor to it that I really enjoyed. Plus, I used it two days ago and my hair STILL smells good and shines likes crazy! I'm really, quite happy with this little piece of goodness.

Yours truly, Bien à vous,
